what should be the tank size
What should be the size of the tank depends on the no. of fishes you like to keep or the type of the fish. If this is your first time to buy an aquarium you should start with a tank of about 15 to 20 Gallon, this is small enough to maintain and big enough to keeping fish. After you gain experience you can buy a big tank like 60 gallon or 75 gallon. When you get the big tank you canuse your old tank as quarantine tank. Never keep a fish in fish bowl, because fish need a large surface area and open space to breath. Putting a fish in a fish-bowl proof that you don't love fish . If you like fish-bowl then keep it , decorate it but donot add fish in it. The size of the tank also depends on the filter type you use. Biological filter/under gravel filter if you use is good to decompose the fish waste. This can keep water fresh for longer period. Bigger Tank is always better than smaller tank . smaller tank need more water changes than bigger tank and the fishes are also happy in large tank. But setting up a bigger tank requires time.
